This free Christmas craft shows you how to make a modern simplistic style Christmas wreath using recycled cereal box cardboard.
You can use any cardboard for this Christmas craft project but using recycled boxes is a great way to recycle.
Start by printing out the pattern below. You can enlarge the pattern if you would like a larger wreath or decrease it for a smaller Christmas tree ornament style wreath.
Cut the pattern out of the paper and then attach the paper to your cardboard pieces and cut them out. Next using the same pattern pin it to your felt pieces. Cut your felt out slightly larger than the pattern to allow for stitching.
Glue your felt pieces down on to the cardboard ring. Finish it off by sewing around the egdes for a neat finish. If you do not wish to sew the edges you can glue on a thin edging or cord.
Attach the ribbon for hanging and some holly or a poinsettia flower to finish it off.

This is adorable! My children(fourteen, seven and four) made these and my husband and I didn't know until we decorated the christmas tree it was really lovely! And it added a special touch. Just love handmade things!
It's ok:) Nothing that special to it, but it's cute that it's handmade:)
