This Christmas project shows you how to make a Christmas Tree Ornament using felt.
You can follow the measurements below or make your decoration any size you wish.
Cut 2 circles with a diameter of 2.7 inch (7 cms) for the middle section. Using a blanket stitch, stitch the two circles together. You could also glue these if you do not have sewing skills.
Cut 20 circles with a diameter of 1.4 inch (3.5cm)for the outer circles.
Sew them together using a blanket stitch as you did for the middle one. Do this 10 times. Sew each one to the main circle as shown.
Embellish your ornament with the buttons around the edges.
Add a felt cutout to the middle, we created a Christmas tree using glitter felt and red embroidery thread. You could also create this decoration using ready made felt cut outs or iron on Christmas patches.
Sew the ribbon onto the top to finish.
