Christmas Tree Crochet Scarf

Christmas Tree Crochet Scarf

This free crochet pattern shows you how to make a fun holiday Christmas tree scarf.

What you need

Size: Finished length is 62 inches.

Size I crochet hook. Red Heart Super Saver Yarn 1 skein each Paddy Green, Wood Brown. Yarn needle. Yellow Felt. 100 small colored pom poms. Fabric glue.

Instructions

Notes: Blocking scarf – To block scarves use hot iron and kitchen size towel wet. Lay scarf on iron board or hard surface and place wet towel over scarf, lightly press iron on towel, do not move but just quick press. This steams the scarf and flattens it out so it lays nice. Repeat for full length of scarf. As you steam press be sure you shape if needed. Let dry for at least 15 minutes. If you leave iron on to long or press hard you can ruin scarf.

We have had this project on our blog since 2008 but it has recently shot to fame due to crazy scarfs and their feature on Fuller house the tv series. Kimmy Gibbler wore a scarf almost identical. Both scarfs the Gibbler style scarf featured on the show and our free crochet scarf were designed by Twinkie Chan. Twinkie designed this pattern for us over 10 years ago and we are very proud to still have this crochet scarf pattern on our blog. We hope you enjoy this version of the scarf as a free pattern. 5. Great idea, but in Row 1 of the instructions for the trunk it should say “sc in each of the next TWO sc,” not “TO” sc! The misspelling might confuse someone who is just learning to crochet.
