This is the first time I have visited this site. How surprized I was to see the exact same image -color and all - of a blanket I knitted 38 years ago. I think I got it from a magazine (but not 100% sure). The squares are not exactly square, but I like the quirky look it produced when put together. And, yes, I am still useing the blanket. Everyone who sees it coments on how they like it!

Good grief, relax to the individual who said "...how much clearer would you like it?" In fact, the original pattern, wrongly, states to repeat row 1 until it measures 5".

When I knitted the pattern according to the directions, it wasn't a square at all but a long skinny rectangle. Also, it says to repeat first row, but you should repeat both rows until you get the desired length.
