Step 1
Rip pieces of old coordinating wallpaper into various pieces and lay on top of mirror in the areas specifically around the perimeter.
Step 2
Brush Mod Podge on back of each piece and affix to mirror face.
Step 3
Using a bit of antiquing medium on a brush, dip in water, and brush off excess on a paper towel. Brush medium on edges of wallpaper pieces and rub into the wallpaper using a damp paper towel to soften the appearance.
Step 4
Take a fork and tear a few areas in the wallpaper.
Step 5
Using a brush with water on it, apply to edges of wallpaper and carefully rub off some of the top layers of the paper to expose the backing. The idea is to make the wallpaper look tattered and torn.
Step 6
Paint the mirror frame with a dry brush using white primer, making sure to make it look old and worn.
Step 7
Brush a little bit more Mod Podge on the top of the dried wallpaper pieces. Hot glue a piece of jewelry and necklace piece on top of frame, and enjoy your creation!
