Recycled Brown Bag Bracelets
brown shopping bag
shipping tape
printer
stick-on velcro
1. cut a brown shopping bag to 8.5 x 11 size.
2. In Microsoft word, choose a clip art image or images to create a rectangle design
3. Print the design on the piece of brown bag that has been cut to size
4. adhere packing tape to each side of the rectangle image and cut to fit your wrist.
5. attach sticky velcro on each end for fastening.

this is a really cute idea! all for all you haters out there, you probably dont have children,because my little girl loved making this! paper or not!
i think this is a really good idea although i think you should maybe instead of laminating it like one quest suggested just using clear boxing tape it should be wide enough and it doesn't cost as much as laminating and you get the same affect. also maybe instead of using Velcro for the fastener why not snaps. with the tape (2 or 3 layers) and small snaps it shouldn't rip. great idea btw
also why couldnt you laminate it it would also be cool to let a small child design it ,with their art work.
I like this idea alot because it's environmentally friendly. It's creative and has endless options for materials and patterns. Yes, paper does rip easily, but the point of this craft likely isn't to wear paper jewelery and accessories.. To me, the point is to spend time with my kids, and seeing them enjoy doing something creative and their own. That memory is far more valuable than any jewelery.. paper or not.

VERY BAD IDEA EASY TO RIP. DON'T REALLY LIKE IT UNLESS YOU WAS MAKING IT FOR KIDS. STILL WHY WOULD YOU WANT YOUR KIDS TO WEAR PAPER ITEMS. LOL
Instead of using your printer try finding colorful magazine pictures, cut to size & complete as directed. Very Pretty!
ewwww... i hate this idea. I only hate it because it is made out of paper and i mean who wants to wear paper? not any one i no. sry i hate it. Thanks 4 trying though.
