TO Make up
Join the 3 strips together by over sewing 2 long
edges together on the wrong side. Fold strips in half, with right sides together to form a square. Over sew side edges together then sew press studs to open edges, tops evenly spaced along one edge and bottoms to match on other. Turn cushion cover right side out. Using 6 strands of one colour or 2 strands each of 3 colours, make a plait long enough to go right round cover plus 16 inch (40cm). Sew plait round three joined edges of cover, leaving a 2-inch (5cm) loop free at corners, then sew along one open edge.
Carefully fit your cover over a 15inch (38cm) square cushion. Fasten with press studs.
