  • Recycled Puzzle Wreath
    Green Spray Paint
    Red Paint
    Craft glue
    Ribbon for hanging

This is a great way to use those puzzles that have so many missing pieces are not worth doing. Try your local Charity store also.

Start by laying out your puzzle pieces on some newspaper.
Spray paint them with a thin layer of green spray paint.
Apply a few light coats till the pieces are well covered.

Lay the pieces over the top of each other to form the wreath. Glueing each piece as you go.

To make a bigger wreath lay the pieces 2-3 pieces wide.

Using the red paint place drops of red paint onto each piece to represent holly berries.

Glue on a ribbon bow and a small thin cord for hanging.

Use some glitter to line the edges for a extra festive feel.

WOW, what an excellent project to do with the little ones. Plenty of jigsaw puzzles laying around in peoples homes with bits missing - just waiting to be thrown out - ask your neighbours and yes, visit the charity shops, they are often given puzzles that can't be sold as there are bits missing - thats a bonus for this project. Also, you can mix some colours as well by painting the pieces say two or three different colours - Christmas could be red, green and brown. A lovely uncomplicated project that I shall do. I am 61, hardly a kid, but I love making things, don't care anyway just enjoy life and our talents. Thank you for sharing this wondeful idea. Mike

I did this puzzle wreath with my grandson when he was 6 years old. We added little Christmas ornaments. My grandson is now 19 years old and his mother still puts out this little wreath at Christmas time.

These are cute!!! I also made them in different colours, which turned out great!! :)

I made these last year and people loved them. I used the newspaper I sprayed the puzzle pieces on to wrap them.
