Pretend Play - Felt Salad

How to make Pretend Play - Felt Salad - DIY Craft Project from Craftbits.com
  • Small felt pieces
    scissors
    Kitchen sponge

This kids craft project shows you how to make a felt salad for pretend play. This project is great for classrooms or homeschooling lesson plans.

Start by taking the kitchen sponge and cut into cubes to create crutons.

Use appropriately colored felt for each ingredient. Red for tomatoes, capsicum, mushrooms etc. Select items that your child can relate to.

Let your child select the items and mix the salad. You can also use these pieces to create pizza plates by gluing onto brown paper plates and much more.
