Powder Puff Ball

These wonderful Powder Puff balls have so many wonderful uses. You can use them for pom poms on clothing, Soft baby balls or join them together to make caterpillars for the kids to play with.

Cast on 5 sts.

Row 1:
K1, inc in to next 3 sts, K1 (8sts)

Row 2:
Purl

Row 3:
K1, inc in to next 6 sts, K1 (14sts)

Row 4:
Purl

Row 5:
K1, inc in to next 12 sts, K1 (26sts)

Row 6-12:
Work in stocking st, begin with Purl row

Row 13:
K1, (k2 tog) 6 times, K1 (14 sts)

Row 14:
Purl

Row 15:
K1, (k2 tog) 6 times, K1 (8 sts)

Row 16:
Purl

Row 17:
K1, (k2 tog) 3 times, K1 (5 sts)

Leave a long thread before breaking off the yarn.

Run this yarn through the remaining 5 stitches on the needle. Slip the needle out and draw up.

Fasten off and join seam together. Fill firmly with fiber fill and sew closed.
