  • Pot pourri
    tulle or netting
    Leatherette fabric
    sewing machine
    optional beads or tassel.

This pot pourri triangle is a great decorative way to add some scent into your home.

Start by preparing your fabric.

You will need to cut
6 inch square for the base
3 triangles 6 inch x 8 inch x 8 inch
2 small triangles 4 inch x 8 inch x 8 inch

The 2 smaller triangles form the back of the triangle which has an opening in it so that you can re-fill your pot pourri.

Take the each triangle and fold over a 1 inch seam and sew the edge over. Do the same for the second small triangle.

When you place both triangles together they should measure the same as the larger ones 4 inch x 8 inch x 8 inch.

Take your base and other triangles and sew them together (working inside out) to form the triangle, add in the 2 smaller triangles to form the back piece.

Turn it the right way out.

Finish off your triangle by sewing in a tassel or some beads.

Place your pot pourri into a circle of netting or tulle and draw up into a bag and place inside the triangle.
