Poochie Placemat
An unfinished canvas placemat (sold at craft stores)
Cardstock in various colors and designs
Acrylic paint (3 colors of your choice)
Sea Sponge
A dog bone template enlarged to fit place mat
Glue, Gesso, Matt Acrylic Sealer
Embellishments of your choice, ribbon
Pet photo
Contact paper
Paint gesso onto unfinished place mat on front only. After it is dry, sponge acrylic paint one color at time starting in the middle and working it to the outside of the place mat. Take bone template and trace onto cardstock and paste to place mat. White tacky glue works best. Seal with Acrylic Matt Sealer. Place pet photo in center of bone and glue to place mat. Decorate with ribbon of your choice and your choice of embellishments. After everything is glued on, cover with clear contact paper. This project was contributed by user "LoveToCraft"
