  • Recycled Candy Tin
    Polymer Clay
    Small Heart Cookie Cutter
    Clay knife
    Rolling Pin

This free valentines day project shows you how to make a decorative tin for homemade sweets for your Valentine.

You can use any recycled candy or sweet tin that suits your needs.

Start by cleaning your tin with some hot soapy water and allow it to dry.

Choose your poly clay color you wish to use for your hearts and using a rolling pin roll the clay out to 1/8 of an inch thick. Using a heart shaped mini cookie cutter or a knife cut out little hearts. You will need enough hearts to cover the top of your lid. Once you have your hearts you can layer them over the lid, pressing them firmly into place.

Once your lid is covered, bake it in the oven following the manufacturers instructions on your clay.

Finish off the valentines tin with varnish.

Fill your valentines day tin with home made candy , sweets or biscuits.

Attach a tag that says "Baked With All My Heart"
