    2 skeins of Embroidery Thread
    Toy Filling
    Sheet wadding/quilt batting
Approx 14 inch (35cms) when complete

This project shows you how to sew a plushie sewing pattern to create a toy turtle.

Make the shell using difference colored felt of polar fleece fabric.

Print out the patterns to fit onto an A4 sized paper.

Turtle Plushie Pattern 1

Turtle Plushie Pattern 2

Stitch the top of the shell together using embroidery thread and using blanket stitch as shown to form the patchwork shell.

Cut your sheet wadding the same size as the top of your shell and pin into place.

Cut out and stitch the legs, tail and head together. Stuff with toy wadding and sew into place on the top shell.

Cut your bottom shell and sew to the top shell, leaving a gap for stuffing.

Fill with toy filling until desired plumpness and sew it closed.

You can also complete this project with a sewing machine if you like.

Embroider the eyes and mouth onto the head to complete.
