Oriental Table Warmer
Flat beach stones or River pebbles
Preferably in white or black
A bamboo steamer tray
This is a great way to present your serving dishes at your next dinner party.
You only need part of a steamer (the shallow part). It will act as a basket to support the rocks.
Before serving your dinner. Place the rocks into the oven on a separate tray or direct onto the rack of a cold oven. Heat them on a high setting for about 15 Min's. This will give them time to absorb the heat.
Carefully place the rocks as flat as possible into the basket then place it on the table. Use this to keep your pans warm while serving.
Never let the stones become too hot or they may
explode in the oven.
