What you need

1/2 cup Powdered clay
1/4 cup Powdered kelp (seaweed)1/4 cup Seawater (or mix sea salt with distilled water)
1/2 cup Aloe vera gel
Plastic Wrap or Towels

Instructions

This DIY body wrap is designed to:

Draw out toxins and impurities

Stimulate blood flow and circulation

Tighten and tone the appearance of skin

Hydrate and soothe dry or irritated areas

  1. Mix the Ingredients
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the powdered clay and herbal tea to form a thick paste. Stir in the apple cider vinegar and olive oil until smooth and creamy. Add essential oils if desired.
  2. Apply the Mud Wrap
Using a clean brush or your hands, apply a generous layer of the mud mixture to your body. Focus on areas that feel sluggish or could benefit from toning, like your thighs, tummy, arms, and back.
  3. Wrap Yourself
Lay out a plastic sheet (a shower curtain or cling wrap works well) in your bathtub or on a towel-covered surface. Carefully lie down and begin wrapping the plastic around your body to help seal in heat and moisture. You can also wrap towels around yourself for added warmth and support.
  4. Relax and Let It Work
Lie back and let the wrap do its magic for 20–30 minutes. You may feel a tightening or tingling sensation as the mud dries—this is normal and part of the detox process. If it gets too itchy or uncomfortable, simply spritz with water or rinse off early.
  5. Rinse Off
After your wrap session, gently unwrap yourself and rinse off the dried mud with warm water. Pat your skin dry with a towel and apply a hydrating body lotion or oil to lock in moisture.

Why Use a Mud Body Wrap?

Mud has been used for centuries as a natural remedy to cleanse the skin, stimulate lymphatic drainage, and boost circulation. It’s a natural exfoliant that sloughs away dead skin while delivering nourishing minerals deep into your pores.

This treatment is especially beneficial for:

  • Post-workout recovery
  • Cellulite-prone areas
  • Skin tightening after weight loss
  • Stress relief and self-care routines

Self-Care Tip: Light a candle, play soothing music, and turn this wrap into a full-blown spa experience. You deserve it.

Add some Weightloss slimming essential oils to help detox the body such as Ginger and Grapefruit.
