  • 10 drops Lemon Balm Essential oil
    1 tsp Beeswax (5 ml)
2 tsp Apricot kernel oil or olive oil (5 ml)

Lemon balm has wonderful healing properties and is well known for use with cold sores. It reduces the duration of a cold sore to just several days.

Use this home made natural recipe as soon as you feel the tingling of a cold sore coming.

This is a delicious protective and healing gloss especially good for chapped lips.

HOW TO START

Melt the beeswax. Add the apricot oil, stirring constantly.

Remove from the heat while stirring. When partly cooled, add the essential oil.

Store in a small glass pot Mini clean jam jars work well .

If you want more of a gloss than a balm add more olive oil, or if you want something a little firmer add more beeswax. This recipe is adaptable to suit your own needs.

Apply to your lips like normal lip balm or cream at the first signs of a cold sore approaching.

Excellent Balm...you can substitute basically any carrier oil for the apricot oil...I made it using almond and jojoba for their soothing properties...this balm smells so good and works really well.....
