Knitted Basket
Basket 4x 3.5 inch (10.5x 9.5 cm)
Using 2 strands of 8 ply or double worsted
size 8 0r(4mm) needles
Base
Cast on 12 sts
Garter st 12 rows.
Cast off.
Edge
Cast on 40 sts
Garter st 8 rows.
cast off.
Handle
cast on 4 sts
garter st 36 rows.
cast off.
To Make Up.
Sew edge pieces to the base piece, slightly gather if necessary and sew Handle piece to the sides of the basket.
