Infused oils- Basics
Herbal infused oils are used in creams, massages and baths. You will need a light cold pressed vegetable oil such as jojoba, almond or apricot kernel oil.
Fill a jar with fresh herbs or half fill it with dried herbs.
Pour enough oil over the herbs till they are covered. Seal the jar and store it for 2 weeks shaking it daily to mix it.
Strain the oil and store in a fridge.
You can decant the oil into another glass bottle after a few days discarding the sediment.
