Hand Held Music Maker

How to make Hand Held Music Maker - DIY Craft Project from Craftbits.com
  • Plastic handle recycled from a refillable lint roller

    Scissors

    About 6’ of green ribbon

    About 6’ of silver ribbon

Twelve jingle bells of various sizes

    Hot Glue

    Hot Glue Gun

This hand-held music maker provides the perfect accompaniment to your family's Christmas sing-a-longs.

Apply a dab of hot glue to the tip of the green ribbon and press into place near the top of the plastic lint roller. Wind ribbon around the top portion of the lint roller, letting the edges overlap and securing the end of the ribbon with another dab of hot glue.

Apply a dab of hot glue to the tip of the silver ribbon and wind as an accent over the green ribbon. Secure the end with another dab of hot glue.

Use the rest of the silver ribbon to wind around the handle of the lint roller. Again, use the hot glue to secure both ends of the ribbon in place.

Arrange the jingle bells according to size: biggest bells at the top of the shaker, smallest bells at the bottom. You will create three rows going down the length of the top portion of the lint roller, with four bells in each row. Apply a dab of hot glue to each bell and press into place along the ribbon-wrapped lint roller. Then shake-shake-shake for a jingle bell jam session.
