How to make Geeky Floppy Note Pad - DIY Craft Project from Craftbits.com
Project rating Project rating Project rating Project rating
  • 2 x 3 1/2 inch floppy disks
    length of ribbon
    Craft Glue
    3 A4 sized papers

This free recycled craft project shows you how to make a very geeky notepad out of recycled floppy disks.

Take your paper , and cut into pieces (3.5 inch by 7 inch)
fold each piece in half. Make 5 of these for 10 sheets of note paper for your disk note pad.

You can use delicate handmade papers or plain computer paper, just make sure the paper is not too thick.

Place the folded sheets of paper into place run glue along the ribbon and attach to the two disks like a book spine. Use plenty of glue so that the edges of the papers are also glued to the ribbon.

Allow to dry before opening.

Once your note pad is full you can re-fill it by adding new paper and ribbon.

Great recycling project. I guess if you don't have the disks you can use CD cases for the same project. Thanks for sharing.

Too cool, have some of the really old 5 inch floppies so I can make a large diary or idea notebook and even paint on it!

Quite geogerous actually but i agree that Some people (myself included) don't have Floopy disks so they have to buy them if they want to make this floppy disk note pad :(
