Garland - Felt Trees
Felt in various colors
3-4 yards (3-4mts) of Cord or ribbon
This free Christmas craft project shows you how to make a homestyle garland using felt. You could also make this Christmas garland using recycled fabrics.
Start by printing out the template below into your desired size for your garland.
Then cut out the template and pin it to your fabric and cut out the tree pattern. Depending on how long you want your garland to be you will need around 6-20 trees.
For extra stability you can use cardboard to back the fabric, do this by cutting out 2 tree patterns for each tree. 1 in cardboard and one in felt and then glue them together.
To finish off this project glue your Christmas trees to a small loop of the ribbon or cord and then thread them onto a long length for hanging as shown in the picture.
Hang it along a wall or across a room.
