This sewing pattern shows you how to make a cute flower pillow that is 17 inches in size.
Cut 2 circles 12" (30.5cm) Diameter
Cut 2 Circles 5 1/2" (14cm) Diameter
Cut 30 petals using template 1
Cut 2 white circles 1 1/2" (3.5cm) Diameter
Cut 3 small circles, 2 brown 1 red and a piece of red felt for the mouth.
Take 2 petal shapes and sew them together and turn right side out. Do this for all
15 complete petals. Place them inwards on one of the 12" circles. Diagram 1
Now sew the 2nd circle on top. Remember your petals should be facing inwards as you will
turn this flower rightside out when finished. Leave a small hole at the top for filling with wadding.
Sew the 5 1/2" circle on top for the face. Sew the eyes and nose into place using embroidery thread and a blanket stitch effect.
Finish off by sewing the mouth on. Fill with wadding and then close the opening with small stitches.
