Project rating Project rating Project rating Project rating
  • 1/2oz beeswax
3/4 cups carrier/fixed/base oil of your choice (sweet almond oil is standard for most skin types), or you can use a blend of oils to make up the recommended 3/4 cups

(i.e. 1/2 cup sweet almond oil, 1/2 cup jojoba oil, 1/2 cup apricot kernel oil)

1 tbsp essential oil of your choice (lavender, orange, grapefruit, recommended)

*Hint* Warm up your scent with a splash of vanilla fragrance oil (about 1/2 tsp)

In a double boiler melt beeswax and oil over med-low heat until beeswax has dissolved.

Pour into glass jars...Recipe makes two 3.5 to 4 oz jars.

Let mixture cool down and then scent.

Cover and let harden for a couple hours.

Depending on the depth or width of jars, hardening time could be more or less. ENJOY!
