This crochet pattern shows you how to crochet a St Patrick's day shamrock. You can use this crocheted St Patrick's day shamrock as a fridgie fridge magnet, a brooch or adorn a hat with them for a very St pattys day feel.
Shamrock:
Row 1) Ch 5; 12 dc in 5th chain from hook; ch 1, turn work: 13 dc.
Row 2) 5 hdc in next dc, sc in next dc, 5 hdc in next dc, slip st in next dc) 3 times. Do not end off.
Tail: Ch 7, slip st in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch, dc in beginning chain, (where first 12 dc were worked on Row 1), slip st in first hdc on Row 2.
Fasten off, secure ends.
Finishing: Attach magnet to back.
