  • Green (or red) felt
    tan felt
    Thread
    Polyester stuffing
Small piece of red yarn (for mouth) and two medium googly eyes
    Scissors
    Craft glue

This free Christmas craft project shows you how to make a Christmas tree light plushie.

Fold the green felt in half and mark a Christmas light shape slightly larger than you would like the actual plushie to be. Cut around your line, leaving a little extra room for sewing.

Sew the two pieces together, sewing along your line and leaving the top part of your light open so you can then turn it the right side out as shown.

Stuff the light plushie with toy stuffing until it is as firm as you want it to be.

Make the top of the Christmas light by cutting two small rectangular pieces slightly larger than the opening of your light. Leave the bottom open and turn it right side out.

Place the top of the Christmas light onto the light making sure it covers the open end as shown in the picture.

Sew the top onto the light as shown.

Using craft glue, glue the face onto the light.
