With busy patterned paper it's sometimes difficult to find a place for a sentiment, or the sentiment gets lost on the card. One way which I overcome this is to make a focal point of the sentiment panel and repeat i't. This technique can be used with rub-ons, stamps or stickers, and makes for an effective greeting card.
1. Cut card base to 8.5 x 5.5" score and fold in half
2. Apply adhesive to the card base front and apply patterned paper. Let it dry and trim away the excess.
3. Apply rub-on sentiments and sticker to white card and trim leaving 1/4 border on each side. Mount panel onto blue cardstock and trim using decorative scallop scissors.
4. Adhere panel to card base and trim away excess.
