Christmas Card - Embellished Circles

How to make Christmas Card - Embellished Circles - DIY Craft Project from Craftbits.com
  • Cardstock
    Patterned paper
    Ribbon
    1" circle punch
    Stamp
    Ink
    Tag
    Dimensional adhesive dots

Some patterned papers have rather large design elements that can really overpower a card, but you can use these to your advantage by using them for embellishment placement. The paper on this card has large circle elements. I decided to make full use of that by placing a circle on the lower right hand corner and placing my embellishment in the centre of the design.

1. Cut card base to 8.5" x 5.5" score and fold in half
2. Apply adhesive to the card base front and apply patterned paper. Let it dry and trim away the excess.
3. Apply ribbon to card with strong adhesive.
4. Punch green circle from patterned paper. Stamp greeting onto circle, let dry then adhere to metal rimmed tag. Adhere tag to card with dimensional adhesive.
