    Patterned paper

    Decorative buttons
    Adhesive
    Glue dots

A great way to accent seasonal cards is to use decorative buttons. They come in many shapes, sizes and themes. Many companies make decorative buttons for the holidays in lots of designs but snowflakes are especially popular and coordinate with lots of the holiday papers.

1. Cut card base to 8.5" x 5.5" score and fold in half
2. Apply adhesive to the card base front and apply patterned paper. Let it dry and trim away the excess.
3. Trim red cardstock to 1"x 5.5" and adhere to card base front
4. Apply rub-on sentiment
5. Remove shank from button with shank remover (or carefully with craft knife). Adhere button to card with strong adhesive, like glue dots.

Tips:
Lots of decorative buttons can be found in the sewing section of the craft store
