Chopstick Storage Box

 If you're lacking in storage but have lots of shoe boxes lying around, this one is a very easy and cheap project to do.

I know shoe boxes are shallow but you can double its space by attaching chopsticks. Just glue the chopsticks around the box and you now have a sturdier, roomier storage box for your magazines, toys, other knick knacks and even plants. You can also opt to paint it or varnish it depending on the look you're going after. Easy, right?
