Card Making - Bear Hugs

This card making tutorial show you how to make a simple bear hugs openning card. 

Find the center of the card stock.  Put a tiny pencil mark at each end of the paper.

Fold from the side, meeting the edge of the paper with the pencil mark at the top and bottom of the paper.

Repeat on the other side. If your pencil mark is not discreet, erase it.

 

Decorate the front of the card any way you wish.  A simple heart shape is great.  Then put anyone’s name or title in, for example: Dad, Mom, Aunt Donna, Uncle Donny, your best friend!!

 

 

Inside the card, draw any animal shape, with long arms, so that when the card is open, the arms are stretched out.

 

Any animal shape is fine:  a dog, a cat, a bunny,… whatever.
