Car Freshener Dress
Materials
Small amount of 100% Worsted Weight Cotton
2 Tiny Buttons
4" Piece of Narrow Rick Rack
Small Satin Flower/Ribbon/Bow for above buttons (not shown)
3 Super Size Cotton Balls (Omit if using potpourri)
Scented Oil (Omit if using potpourri)
Small eye dropper (If using cotton balls & scented oil)
Round Elastic Cord
Sewing thread to match Car Freshener
Fabric Glue (for applying Flower/Ribbon/Bow)
Crochet Hook Size F
Directions:
Row 1) Ch 9, Sc in 2nd Ch from hook and remaining chains. Ch 1, Turn. (8 Sc)
Row 2) Sc evenly across, Ch 1, Turn.
Row 3) 1 Sc Dec at each end of row. Ch 1, Turn.
Rows 4 - 7) Sc evenly across.
Row 8) 1 Sc Dec, Sc in each to end. Ch 1, Turn.
Row 9) Sc evenly across. Ch 1, Turn.
Row 10) 1 Increase each end of row. Ch 1, Turn.
Rows 11 -13) Sc evenly across.
Row 14 & 15) 1 Increase each end of row. Fasten off after Row 15.
First Strap
Row 1) Ch 1. Skip 2, Attach yarn with Sc in next. Ch 1, Turn.
Row 2) Sc Evenly across. Fasten off.
Second Strap
Row 1) Skip 2 center Sc?s, attach yarn with Sc in next. Ch 1, Turn.
Row 2) Sc evenly across. Fasten off.
Embellishments With Sewing Thread:
Sew Rick Rack to bottom of dress.
Sew buttons to center of dress.
Sew one end of elastic to each shoulder.
Glue Flower/Ribbon/Bow to center top of dress.
Back
make as for Front, do not embellish.
Finishing
Sew dress Front and back together leaving an opening to stuff.
