This free crochet pattern shows you how to crochet your own baby booties. 


1. Chain 9, make 6 single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, single crochet in the


next 3 stitches, half-double crochet in the next 3 stitches, 7 double crochet in the last

stitch, half-double crochet in the next 3 stitches, single crochet in the next 3 stitches,

slip stitch to join. (26 stitches)

2. Chain 2 and turn.

Half-double crochet in the next 7 stitches, 2 double crochet in each of the next 5

stitches, half-double crochet in the next 8 stitches, 2 single crochet in each of the next

5 stitches, slip stitch to join. (36 stitches). The sole is finished.

3. Chain 1 and turn.

Single crochet in each stitch around, slip stitch to join. (36 stitches)

4. Repeat step 3. (36 stitches)

5. Chain 1 and turn.

Single crochet in the next 7 stitches, *skip the next stitch, single crochet in the next

stitch. Repeat from * for 5 more times. Single crochet in the next 17 stitches, slip

stitch to join. (30 stitches).

6. Chain 1 and turn.

Single crochet in the next 15 stitches, *skip the next stitch, single crochet in the next

stitch. Repeat from * for 5 more times. Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, slip

stitch to join. (24 stitches)

7. Chain 2 and turn, double crochet in the next 12 stitches, and fasten off.

Weave the yarn ends into the finished work.

Thread a ribbon through the last row of double crochet stitches, and tie in a bow.

Make a bow, and sew on top of the foot.

pattern is off. I just made a few adjustments and it wasnt so bad but those last double crochet are off.

This pattern does not come out right. The sole ends up widthwise instead of lengthwise. Thought i messed it up the first time, but came out the exact same way the second time.

I tried this twice, it doesn't make any sense ! The 12 last double crochets don't end up right. Makes the soles widthwise instead of lengthwise. Can't figure it out. Don't think the pattern is right.
