This knitting pattern shows you how to make a child's beanie that has a faux fur feather trim. Trim Cast on 80 sts using the feather wool (Pink) Garter stitch 8 rows Change to 8ply yarn (Lilac) st-st 14 rows Begin decreasing as follows (K8 K2tog) to the end. P1 row. (K7 K2tog) to the end. P1 row (K6 K2tog) to the end. P1 row (K5 K2tog) to the end. P1 row (K4 K2tog) to the end. P1 row (K3 K2tog) to the end. P1 row (K2 K2tog) to the end. P1 row (K1 K2tog) to the end. P1 row (k2 tog) to the end. Thread Yarn through stitches and draw up, fasten off securely. Sew down side seam and decorate with a small flower, bow or a butterfly.

Cute and simple little beanie. Wished it was in crochet!! I am so much faster when I crochet. Gloria
