Baked Custard Mix

Recipes in a Mug

These make great little gifts for friends and family for every ocasion from christmas to birthdays, to mothers day's and even just a pick me up for someone who is feeling down.

For these recipes you will need a mug that is oven proof to be able to cook the item in the mug. Your mug should fit around 1 1/2 cups of liquid into it.

Fill the mug with the mug ingredients and attach the recipe card instructions.

Tie the whole mug up with some cellophane or add some curling ribbons and a bow to finish off this gift

Mug Ingredients:
2 tbs sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbs sulatana's or raisains
1/4 tsp of nutmeg

Mix all the dry ingredients together into ziplock bag.

Tag Instructions:

Baked Custard
1 cup of milk
baked custard mix
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 beaten egg yolk

Preheat oven to 325`F / 165'C
Bring the milk to a simmer in a medium pan.
Add the custard mix from the cup with vanilla and egg yolk.
Mix well and add 1 tbs of the milk to the powder and mix well then slowly add the remaining milk.

Pour the mix into the mug, bake in an oven for 15 minutes
