These are gorgeous but as others have said, the math is so wrong....
It would be good if it was rectified...

Jean asked:
*I am now struggling with the section when you cast on 9 st. I now have 22 st on the needle. Decreasing 1 st for 5 rows leaves 17 st (directions say I should have 25st. What is wrong? Can you please help me!. *

I think it means to knit 2 together at one end and increase at the other end...that is what I did and it seems to have worked...

I love this slipper but had some problems. After casting on 15 stitches the directions say "INC. in 1 st" which I finally figured out was not a certain stitch.
So I think the directions would be more clear if those words were not included.

Also on page 3 of my printed copy, after knitting the 3rd and 4th row 3 more times (29) st
on the next row it says to "cast of" 16 st. K to end. It should read cast "off" 16 st. K to end. T

It was a little difficult because the math (at the end) is a little off. 22 - 5 = 17. not 15. I had to add 2 more rows. Other than that, the pattern is easy and cute.

These are so sweet. I ended up halving the pattern so i could use a thicker yarn for a smaller baby.

It would be helpful if the pattern said how many yards of yarn so we could substitute a different fiber, but the booties are adorable.
