  • Wooden end-drilled hair sticks
    Aqua lampwork beads
Silver bead caps to fit the lampwork beads
Crystal and aqua Czech firepolish beads
    Silver daisy spacers
    Silver headpins
    Epoxy resin adhesive

Take the hair sticks or shawl pins and poke them into a block of styrofoam to keep them upright.

Mix the epoxy resin components and drizzle some adhesive into the holes in the hair sticks.  Cut the end off a headpin and place the cut end into the hole and adhesive.  Place a little adhesive around the end of the hair stick.  Thread the lampwork bead onto the head pin and make sure that it contacts the adhesive without leaving any squeeze out.  Leave to dry for at least an hour.

Thread your bead cap and a small crystal-coloured bead onto the headpin the lampwork bead is attached to.  Cut the headpin, leaving about 7mm to create a loop to attach the dangle to.

To creat the dangle, thread firepolish beads and silver daisy spacers to your preferred design.  Then cut the headpin to length, create a loop and attach to the first loop you created.

Repeat to create a second hair stick or shawl pin.
