This crochet pattern shows you how to make a pretend play sushi train for your kids to play with.

Using light brown yarn, ch 23,
Rnd 1: Sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each ch. (22)

Rnd 29: Ch 1, working around the piece (including ends of rows), sc in each sc around, sl st into the first sc. (98)

Repeat Rnd 1-29 to make another piece as the bottom cover. Leave a long tail and finish off.

LOWER PART OF THE TRAIN BODY

Using light brown yarn, ch 13,

Rnd 1: Sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each ch. (12)

Rnd 21: Ch 1, working around the piece (including ends of rows), sc in each sc around, sl st into the first sc. (12)

Finish Off.

Stuff and sew the lower part to the upper part of the train body.

WHEELS

Using light yellow yarn, ch 4, sl st into the first ch to create a ring,

Rnd 1: Ch 1, 6 sc into the ring, sl st into the first sc. (6)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each of sc around, sl st into the first sc. (12)

Change to red yarn,

Rnd 3: Ch 1, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc] repeat 6 times, sl st into the first sc. (18)
Rnd 4: Ch 1, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc] repeat 6 times, sl st into the first sc. (24)
Rnd 5: Ch 1, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc] repeat 6 times, sl st into the first sc. (30)

Finish Off.

Repeat Rnd 1-5 to make the bottom cover. Leave a long tail to sew and finish off.

Stuff with fiberfill and sew the bottom cover.
Repeat all the steps above to make a total of 12 wheels.

Glue the wheels to the train cart as shown in photo.

Using light brown yarn, ch 10, sl st into the first ch to create a ring,

Rnd 1-12: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st into the first sc. (10)

Finish off. Stuff with fiberfill and sew this part as the connector of the train cart.

Use the same pattern for tuna sushi, salmon sushi and egg sushi. Sew stripes using white yarn for salmon sushi.

Egg Sushi Belt

Using green yarn, ch 35, sl st into the first ch to create a ring,
Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st into the first sc. (35)

Finish Off. Slip on the belt on egg sushi.
