I am a software developer living and working in Brisbane, Australia. Currently, I work as a contractor for the Centre for Biological Information Technology, which is a faculty centre at the University of Queensland. The centre produces software products for application in biological research, training and natural resource management
More about what I do can be found in the work section.
My wife, Shellie, runs Craftbits.com, which is an Arts and Crafts resource website. I help manage the technical side of things, and sometimes, use it for my own gain, like running this blog.
I am the author/co-author of a few books.
I enjoy computer games. My all time favourite is Civilization 3, but I don't get enough time these days to do an all-nighter with it, so I have started doing short lived skirmishes in Counter-Strike.
I enjoy playing Cricket and Tennis, all very poorly I am afraid. I have recently taken to playing Golf and enjoy my time at the driving range.
If you are interested you can take a look at my photo album here. I also have a "Things I want to do before I cannot do them anymore" page.
